Later, i did some search and found a tool (not for my model) this tool is called Lenovo "Energy Manager" tool installed it and restart windows then i fount that the (f11+f12) keys used for brightness are working now, then tried other keys like volume up/down keys and they work fine and the airplane (wireless disconnect key F7) also works fine, then tried the the F4 key used for mic mute then the dvd drive ejected/opened !!!
Then, i went to bios setup and change the hotkey mode to Disabled and back to windows test again to find some other keys start working again like volume up/down keys ,but for the (f11+f12) keys used for brightness still not working at all. So i downloaded it from their website ( ) and install it ,but no luck ! I installed new windows 7 on my Lenovo ideapad 110-15ISK, after that start installing all the needed drivers ,but when i tried to test the function keys i noticed that the Fn+ (F1 to F12 ) not working or give another function like maximize a window or open search and specially the (f11+f12) keys used for brightness are not working so i start to search for the issue online ,but didn't have a good solution so what i did is the next :įirst, i went to lenovo website and i found the following: Brightness Control Registry Key for Windows 7 (64-bit) - ideapad 110-14ISK, 110-15ISK
